Bio

Patrick grew up in Singapore and Indonesia before moving to Sydney, where he studied at the University of Sydney. He began his entrepreneurial journey while still at university and, in 1999, left his role at Arthur Andersen to co-found Catcha.com in Southeast Asia with Luke Elliott. Catcha became one of Asia’s most prominent dot-coms and survived the crash, later evolving into the Catcha Group in 2004.

Since then, Catcha has founded and taken six digital businesses from startup to IPO, including iProperty Group (acquired by REA Group in 2016), iCar Asia, and Frontier Digital Ventures. Patrick is also Chairman and CEO of Catcha Investment Corp, a NYSE-listed SPAC focused on technology businesses in Southeast Asia and Australia.

Today, Patrick focuses on helping tech entrepreneurs scale and transition from private to public markets, leveraging Catcha’s deep entrepreneurial and capital markets expertise. He has received multiple international recognitions, including honors from the World Economic Forum, Bloomberg Business, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce Singapore.
